You’ll learn the Five Ways to Bond with Your Horse over this immersive 2-day clinic — because a horse that’s bonded with you is a horse that keeps you safer.

Whether your horse bucks, rears, is hard to catch, or difficult to trailer, you’ll learn practical exercises across two days of groundwork and mounted work, and walk away with a personal assessment of where you are and homework to keep building your bond at home.

Important: This is a hands-on clinic — participants must bring their own horse. Horse rentals are NOT available at this location. A current Coggins test is required by North Carolina law for every horse. No exceptions, no refunds.

One horse per participant. Each rider works with one horse throughout both clinic days.

REQUIRED — Coggins Test (NC Law): Under North Carolina law, your horse will not be allowed at the clinic without a current Coggins test on file, and no refund will be given. You must upload your Coggins test before arrival.

These clinics are not designed to solve every problem in two days. The goal is to give you the knowledge, skills, and tools to continue building your horse’s confidence and your bond over time. Bring a horse you feel safe and comfortable working with so both of you get the most out of the experience.

  • 2 Detailed directions will be provided in your confirmation email.
  • 3 Arrive by 8:30 AM for a 9 AM start each day.

Overnight stall boarding available — $75 for 1 night or $100 for 2 nights. Add boarding during checkout.

Yes, this is a hands-on clinic and participants work directly with their own horse. Horse rentals are not available at this location — you must bring your own horse to participate.
Your horse should be comfortable at the walk and trot, and able to canter without bucking. No unbroken horses are allowed. The clinic is designed for riders who want to deepen their connection, not start from scratch with an untrained horse.
You’ll need a snaffle bit and a rope halter with a 14-foot lead. Riders must wear boots, long pants (no shorts), and a helmet. We also recommend bringing water, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate layers for two full days outdoors. Lunch is provided both days.
Yes, overnight stall boarding is available at Rosehill Stables. Rates are $75 for 1 night or $100 for 2 nights. You can add boarding during checkout. This is a great option if you’re traveling from out of town and want to arrive the night before or stay between clinic days.
This clinic is limited to 10–12 participants to make sure every rider and horse gets individual attention from the clinician across both days.
Clinics are hands-on — you bring your horse and work directly with the clinician over two full days (9 AM – 3 PM each day). Workshops are observation-based — you watch demonstrations with a live horse, ask questions, and learn without needing to bring a horse. Workshops are typically 3 hours.
Yes. Under North Carolina law, a current Coggins test is required for any horse entering the facility. Your horse will not be allowed to participate without a Coggins on file, and no refund will be given. You must upload your Coggins test before arrival.
