Whether your horse bucks, rears, is hard to catch, or difficult to trailer, you’ll learn practical exercises across two days of groundwork and mounted work, and walk away with a personal assessment of where you are and homework to keep building your bond at home.

REQUIRED — Coggins Test & Vaccination Records: Your horse will not be allowed at the clinic without a current Coggins test (required by Michigan law) and up-to-date vaccination records. You'll submit both through a pre-clinic document form after registering.

These clinics are not designed to solve every problem in two days. The goal is to give you the knowledge, skills, and tools to continue building your horse’s confidence and your bond over time. Bring a horse you feel safe and comfortable working with so both of you get the most out of the experience.

Your horse should be comfortable at the walk and trot, and able to canter without bucking. No unbroken horses are allowed. The clinic is designed for riders who want to deepen their connection, not start from scratch with an untrained horse.
You’ll need a snaffle bit and a rope halter with a 14-foot lead. Riders must wear boots, long pants (no shorts), and a helmet. We also recommend bringing water, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate layers for two full days outdoors.
This clinic is limited to 10 participants to make sure every rider and horse gets individual attention from the clinician across both days.
