About This Clinic
LEARN THE FIVE WAYS TO BOND WITH YOUR HORSE
Bring your horse and spend a full day with Steady Horse certified clinicians learning the Five Ways to Bond with Your Horse. This clinic is for riders who want to build a deeper, more meaningful connection — because a horse that’s bonded with you is a horse that keeps you safer.
Whether your horse bucks, rears, is hard to catch, or difficult to trailer, you’ll learn practical exercises and walk away with a personal assessment of where you are and homework to keep building your bond at home.
Important: This is a hands-on clinic — participants must bring their own horse or rent one ($100). A current Coggins test is required for every horse entering Grace Ranch. No exceptions, no refunds.

RIDER & HORSE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Horse Requirements
- Comfortable at walk and trot
- May canter without rider being fully comfortable cantering, but horse must canter without bucking
- No unbroken horses
- Snaffle bit required
- Rope halter with 14-foot lead required
Rider Requirements
- Long pants — no shorts
- Boots required
- Helmet required
These clinics are not designed to solve every problem in a single day. The goal is to give you the knowledge, skills, and tools to continue building your horse’s confidence and your bond over time. Bring a horse you feel safe and comfortable working with so both of you get the most out of the experience.
Getting to Grace Ranch
- 1 Head to Floresville, TX — about 30 minutes southeast of San Antonio.
- 2 Detailed driving directions and a map pin will be included in your confirmation email.
- 3 Plan to arrive by 8:30 AM to get your horse settled before the 9 AM start.
Overnight boarding available for $35/night if you’re traveling from out of town.
